Race Course

Course Description:

All races start in the overflow parking lot just south of the visitors center immediately turn right going west on the road to White Domes.

Runners continue out the road to White Domes passing Mouses Tank to Rainbow Vista. Full marathoners and half marathoners turn right onto the gravel road that goes out to Fire Canyon lookout. There is a turn around out there and you proceed back on the same road arriving back on the main paved road turning right continuing out to White Domes. 10k runners will continue straight out the road to White Domes to the turn around then return to the start finish line. At white domes there is another turn around bringing everyone back to the start/finish area. Full marathoners will wave and continue down to the T intersection. Full marathoners turn right and go west on Hwy 169 to the turn off for Atlatl Rock, they make the loop around Atlatl rock and turn right again back onto Hwy 169 proceeding west on Hwy 169 to the top of the HILL FROM HELL, turn around at approximately “scenic overlook sign” (mile 20ish) and then it’s downhill for the next 5.8 miles or so with a short uphill as you turn to the finish.

8 Aid Stations approximately 2 miles apart. (using same stations out and back)

All aid stations have Gatorade and water. Orange and banana chunks at every other aid station.
