Attn Runners:
The Hailey Mayz Foundation website launched yesterday and we officially linked up with them to help earn money to benefit families with critically ill children. I hope you will choose to run/walk with us this year and every year. We already offered an incredible experience, now your participation will live on by benefiting others. Hope to see you in November.
Shadow races return and we add a 5k to the venue. Course map to be added soon.
Introducing the aMayzing Middle of the Pack award. After each race is finished (last runner in), our timing guy will determine who was at the middle of each event, both male and female and they will receive the aMayzing Middle of the pack award. Who says middles can't take home bling?
This year we will be communicating updates through the facebook event page and blast emails. Please sign up there and make sure you provide us with a viable email address so you can stay informed. Thanks.

The Hailey Mayz Foundation is partnering with the Valley of Fire Marathon to raise money to help families with special needs children. This year 100% of the proceeds for the race will go to the Foundation.

Location & Directions
Valley of Fire State Park is located in the Mojave Desert of southern Nevada about 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. It abuts Lake Mead National Recreation Area at the Virgin River confluence. It lies in a basin 4 miles wide by 6 miles long, 15 miles southwest of Overton, Nevada. Its elevation varies between 2,000 and 2,600 feet.
Traveling northeast on Interstate 15 from Las Vegas, take Exit 75, Nevada Route 169 at Moapa Fireworks stand east to the park. Traveling southwest on I-15 turn south on Route 169 (Exit 93) near Glendale, and travel southeast 15 miles to the park.
